About the role
Starbucks is looking for an Assistant Manager to support store operations, develop team members, and drive sales in a fast‑paced coffee and tea environment. This full‑time position offers hands‑on coaching, online learning, and classroom training to build your supervisory experience and business acumen.
Key responsibilities
- Generate sales and improve efficiency by applying business acumen and problem‑solving skills.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a retail or customer‑service team to achieve high performance.
- Act as a brand ambassador, inspiring partners and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Support talent acquisition, scheduling, and day‑to‑day store operations.
Required profile
- Minimum two years of experience managing a retail or customer‑service team.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in a sales‑driven environment.
- High school diploma or GED; French fluency (reading, writing, speaking) required.
- Proof of identity and eligibility to work in Canada.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule exceeding 40 hours per week, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
