Assistant Manager - Braven

About the role

Braven, a new breed of steakhouse led by award-winning chef Anthony Walsh, is looking for an Assistant Manager in Edmonton. The manager reports to the General Manager and works closely with the front-of-house and back-of-house teams, helping to create a warm, welcoming guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute with the management team to all aspects of the restaurant, including recruitment, training, coaching, payroll, invoicing, ordering, inventory, scheduling and overall productivity
• Lead health and safety meetings and communicate the restaurant's vision to all team members
• Build and maintain relationships with guests, team members and senior management
• Help with additional duties as assigned or required

Required profile

• 1+ year of supervisory or management experience in a restaurant environment
• Passion for food and beverage, with articulate, honest and respectful service
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Organization in a fast-paced environment, able to handle a large and variable workload accurately and on time
