Asphalt Paving Operator – Heavy Equipment Specialist

About the role
The Asphalt Paving Operator is responsible for operating heavy paving equipment to lay asphalt surfaces efficiently and safely on road, parking lot and other infrastructure projects. This role supports the delivery of high‑quality paving work while adhering to safety standards and project timelines.
Key responsibilities
- Operate asphalt pavers and related heavy equipment to lay asphalt with accuracy.
- Prepare job sites by setting up equipment, checking grades and ensuring proper alignment.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on paving machinery.
- Coordinate with crew members to maintain smooth workflow and meet project deadlines.
- Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment.
Required profile
- Previous experience in asphalt paving or heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel throughout Manitoba.
- Reliability, punctuality and strong work ethic.
