Analyst, Business Transformation

About the role

The Capital Markets Transformation team at RBC is seeking a motivated Analyst to support business‑driven transformation initiatives. This position will work closely with front‑office partners and functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and deliver impactful outcomes for RBC Capital Markets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior team members in building relationships across business units, functions, and RBC segments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop project schedules, deliverables, and milestones.
• Create and maintain core project artefacts, including meeting minutes, reports, and status updates.
• Prepare presentation materials that communicate project progress to key stakeholders and management.
• Conduct data entry, analysis, and verification tasks to support project execution.
• Support administrative activities such as scheduling meetings, tracking action items, and maintaining documentation.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of relevant experience or internship/co‑op experience in business or finance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a willingness to build relationships.
• High attention to detail, organizational ability, and capacity to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups).
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
