About the role
We are looking for an Administrative Receptionist to be the first point of contact at our Malton Clinic. The role involves managing front‑desk operations, handling calls, and supporting the nursing team to ensure smooth clinic flow.
Key responsibilities
- Greet visitors, answer and redirect telephone calls, and provide assistance or direct inquiries to appropriate staff.
- Coordinate with nursing and coordination staff to support scheduling and clinic flow.
- Manage appointment reminders, schedule reviews, and assist with report preparation.
- Maintain clinic supplies, accept deliveries, and restock equipment as needed.
- Report risk events, critical incidents, and accidents in accordance with VHA policy and Ontario regulations.
Required profile
- Secondary School Diploma with at least two years of related administrative or customer‑service experience.
- Experience in a healthcare setting is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to type at least 50 wpm and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Familiarity with Windows operating system and standard office equipment.
- Experience using database software for data entry and reporting.
What we offer
- Base salary ranging from $34,000 to $43,000 CAD, commensurate with experience.
- Full‑time weekday schedule (Monday‑Friday, 11 am‑7 pm).
