Accounts Payable Accountant

About the role

Kirmac Collision & Autoglass is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant to join its finance team. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will ensure accurate vendor payments, reconcile statements, and support month‑end close activities across multiple store locations.

Key responsibilities

• Process vendor payments, run cheques and deposit them.
• Reconcile high‑volume vendor statements for 17+ stores.
• Import and post AP invoices, overhead invoices and expense reports.
• Review invoices for proper authorization and maintain vendor payment terms.
• Handle shareholder credit‑card transaction reconciliations.
• Perform AP follow‑up with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with month‑end journal entries and other accounting projects.
• Maintain vendor setup records and correspondence with location management.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on accounts payable experience.
• At least 3 years of month‑end processing experience.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, plan tasks and manage time effectively.
• Professional communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.

Required skills

• Intermediate Excel proficiency.
• Solid computer skills for accounting software.
