Accounting Associate (Finance Team)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accounting Associate to join our fast‑paced finance team. In this role you will support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate records, and help ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit‑card statements, and general‑ledger accounts.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including journal entries.
• Support payroll processing and related reconciliations.
• Generate financial reports and aid budget tracking.
• Maintain filing systems and accurate accounting records.
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve accounting issues promptly.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives for accounting processes and controls.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational and analytical skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
