Account Executive, Customer Sales Canada (Mid-Market West)

About the role

Trimble's AECO team is looking for an Account Executive to drive growth for a portfolio of mid-market MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) contractor accounts across Western Canada. The role acts as a trusted advisor who helps leading contractors adopt SaaS technology and modernize their operations, working remotely with up to 50% travel.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and expand an assigned book of mid-market MEP contractor accounts across Canada to drive recurring revenue growth.
• Uncover new subscription opportunities and negotiate medium-to-large contracts by engaging multiple customer personas across business units.
• Partner with Solutions Architects, Customer Success Managers and Support teams to scale digital workflows and accelerate product adoption.
• Develop and execute territory and account plans to build pipeline and meet quota targets.
• Work with Product Marketing and Product Sales Executives to stay ahead of product enhancements and market trends.

Required profile

• 1-3+ years of customer sales and account management experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding annual quotas.
• Demonstrated experience in a SaaS or software company.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% across the territory.
• Bonus points: experience moving customers from perpetual licenses to SaaS subscriptions, and direct knowledge of the construction, AECO or MEP trades.

What we offer

• Compensation of 140k CAD base salary plus OTE (on-target earnings) including commission.
• Remote work in the West territory of Canada.
