Account Director (Facility Management/Janitorial)

About the role

Dexterra Group is seeking an experienced Account Director to lead our Facility Management and Janitorial services. Reporting to the District Manager, you will be the primary client liaison, overseeing service delivery, profitability, and team performance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow client relationships using the Tenacity Client for Life methodology.
• Provide on‑site presence to ensure client satisfaction and address feedback.
• Manage profit and loss, staffing levels, and resource allocation for assigned accounts.
• Lead performance management, set clear expectations, and reward achievements.
• Implement continuous‑improvement initiatives and best practices.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess service quality and health‑safety compliance.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with company goals.
• Monitor KPIs, take corrective actions, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facility management or janitorial service delivery.
• Strong client‑facing and relationship‑building skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage P&L, HR, and health‑safety responsibilities.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Capacity to drive operational excellence and strategic planning.
