3D Artist

About the role

Stormborn Studios is seeking a talented 3D Artist to create realistic and representational visual effects for a variety of projects. The role involves adapting existing illustrations, producing both 2‑D and 3‑D animated drawings, and selecting the best medium to achieve the desired visual impact.

Key responsibilities

• Adapt and enhance existing illustrations to meet client objectives.
• Develop realistic sketches, final illustrations, and 2‑D/3‑D animated drawings.
• Determine the most suitable medium and communication vehicle for each visual effect.
• Create graphic elements, layouts, and visual assets that align with project goals.
• Collaborate with the VFX team to integrate assets into final productions.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to distinguish colours.
• Efficient interpersonal skills, initiative, and a collaborative team player.
• Comfortable working under tight deadlines in a seated, office environment.
• Ability to work independently and meet project milestones.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Houdini.
• Proficiency with NUKE.
