Yard Loader Operator – Full-time

About the role

RCI Aggregates is seeking a full‑time Yard Loader Operator to work in its Edmonton‑area recycling yard. The role involves operating heavy equipment, managing material loading, and maintaining a safe, efficient yard environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a loader and excavator with breaker to move concrete and asphalt rubble.
• Maintain equipment and schedule regular services.
• Load, scale and ticket material onto trucks.
• Manage truck traffic, customer sales and rubble stockpiles.
• Perform yard maintenance, upkeep and security.
• Record and report scale tickets, safety documents and equipment pre‑trip checks using mobile apps.
• Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience operating a loader and loading trucks.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and extended hours.
• Customer‑oriented attitude.
• Pass a medical/fitness exam.
