About the role
Quezada Builders Inc. is seeking an experienced Concrete Finishing Supervisor to lead a team of cement finishers and labourers on diverse construction projects across Edmonton. The role involves overseeing daily site activities, ensuring quality finishes, and maintaining a safe work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare production and progress reports for management.
- Supervise and coordinate a crew of 3‑4 cement finishers and 5‑10 labourers.
- Schedule and organise site activities to meet project timelines.
- Provide training or arrange training for team members.
- Enforce health and safety regulations on noisy, dusty outdoor sites.
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 3 to less than 5 years of relevant experience.
- Organised, reliable and a strong team player.
- Ability to work under pressure in outdoor, noisy, dusty environments.
- Possession of personal protective equipment such as steel‑toed boots and a hard hat.
Required skills
- Blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Concrete finishing techniques.
