Warehouse Associate

About the role

Upper Canada Forest Products is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate to join its Victoria, BC distribution centre. You will play a key part in ensuring that wood products are handled safely, accurately and shipped on time to customers across North America.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload, move and stack products manually and with a forklift.
• Prepare orders for shipment, verifying quantities and product types.
• Secure freight loads according to safety standards and tag or label stock items.
• Operate a small delivery truck to transport products as needed.
• Maintain inventory of shipping supplies and enter inventory data into the ERP system.
• Report any inventory discrepancies to management and keep the work area organized.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Previous experience operating a forklift (license preferred).
• Ability to lift, pull and push approximately 75 lb repeatedly.
• Strong teamwork and customer-service orientation.
