About the role
Join Canada Post’s dynamic mail‑operations team as an overnight Postal Clerk. This temporary, on‑call position offers hands‑on experience in mail processing while working the midnight to 8:00 am shift.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and accept incoming mail items.
- Sort, scan, sequence and batch mail for distribution.
- Load and transfer mail onto postal trucks.
- Dispatch parcels and packets to their destinations.
- Complete required reports and documentation.
- Lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb).
- Perform additional postal clerk duties as needed.
Required profile
- No prior experience required; production‑environment experience is a plus.
- Must be available for the midnight‑to‑08:00 am shift.
- English language proficiency is essential.
- Self‑starter with a flexible schedule.
