Technicien(ne) de service – production

About the role

Xerox is expanding its Technical Services division and seeks a Production Service Technician to deliver high‑quality field support for large‑scale printing equipment in Quebec City. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring equipment uptime and satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to service calls and resolve issues in line with customer SLA agreements.
• Perform diagnostics, software loads, installation, removal, retrofit and remote troubleshooting on electromechanical production printers.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts, consumables and production supplies for assigned equipment.
• Provide guidance to teammates on repair best practices and company procedures.

Required profile

• Senior‑level electromechanical experience (e.g., HVAC, cable‑internet, electrician, automotive mechanic, military).
• Strong time‑management, reliability and a “10‑minutes‑early” work ethic.
• Valid driver’s licence, clean driving record and appropriate insurance coverage.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lb and spend >50 % of the day walking, standing, squatting and driving.

Required skills

• Electromechanical troubleshooting.
• Use of a multimeter to test electrical circuits.
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
• Remote diagnostic software for equipment resolution.
• Software loading, equipment installation, removal and retrofit.
