Technical Talent Acquisition Consultant (AI & Data Science)

About the role

We are seeking a Consultant, Talent Acquisition (Technical Recruitment) to support a leading telecommunications client in Mississauga. The role focuses on sourcing and hiring top talent for AI, Data Science, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, Cloud and related technology functions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle recruitment for technical positions, from intake to offer acceptance.
• Partner with hiring managers and technology leaders to define hiring requirements and recruitment strategies.
• Source and engage passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, talent mapping and market research.
• Recruit for roles across Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, Cloud Technology, Data Engineering and Digital Functions.
• Conduct candidate screening, qualification assessments and maintain pipelines in ATS/CRM systems.
• Coordinate interviews, provide regular updates to stakeholders and support offer discussions.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience recruiting for technical and technology‑focused positions.
• Strong understanding of AI, Data Science, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, Cloud or related technology functions.
• Advanced sourcing expertise using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, talent mapping and market intelligence research.
• Experience engaging and attracting passive technical talent.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast‑paced environment.
