Technical Recruiter (IT & Digital)

About the role

Randstad is expanding its Digital Specialty team in Toronto and seeks a high‑performing Technical Recruiter to own full‑cycle recruiting for permanent IT and digital positions. You will act as a strategic talent advisor, partnering with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to deliver top technical talent.

Key responsibilities

• Drive end‑to‑end recruitment for permanent IT and digital roles, managing 7‑10 active requisitions simultaneously.
• Partner with hiring managers and account leaders to shape recruitment strategies, set market expectations, and advocate for candidates.
• Proactively source, screen, and build pipelines for niche, hard‑to‑fill technical skill sets using creative sourcing methods.
• Guide candidates through the interview process, manage compensation expectations, negotiate offers, and close placements.
• Stay current on IT industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and talent market conditions.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of technical recruitment experience, preferably in a boutique or agency environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high requisition volumes with minimal supervision.
• High‑ownership mentality, independent, accountable, and fast‑paced.
• Strong drive to maximize earnings through performance‑based commission.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and candidate/client management skills.
