Technical Advisor – Residential Roofing & Solar

About the role

Penfolds Roofing & Solar is expanding its Technical Advisory team to meet growing demand for roofing and renewable‑energy solutions in the Lower Mainland. As a Technical Advisor – Residential, you will combine sales expertise with technical knowledge to guide customers through estimates, proposals, and project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed estimates, quotations and proposals that meet customer requirements and company standards.
• Conduct on‑site and virtual meetings with customers, building trust and driving business growth.
• Serve as the primary point of contact, proactively addressing questions, challenges and feedback.
• Manage the full sales cycle and maintain an active pipeline within the designated territory.
• Identify, engage and educate potential customers on roofing and solar product offerings.
• Build and sustain long‑term customer relationships to generate repeat sales opportunities.
• Deliver a high‑quality customer experience focused on responsiveness and satisfaction.
• Organize personal scheduling and follow‑up activities independently.

Required profile

• Strong ownership and accountability throughout the sales and project lifecycle.
• Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical product knowledge into clear client conversations.
• Reliability and consistency in meeting commitments.
• Consultative approach with genuine interest in helping customers find the right solutions.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Valid BC driver’s licence.
