About the role

Join Fastenal Canada as a Sales Associate in Dieppe, NB, delivering customer service and supporting wholesale operations. This part‑time permanent position involves handling inventory, advising customers, and processing sales both in‑store and online.

Key responsibilities

• Operate computerized inventory record‑keeping and re‑ordering systems.
• Provide product advice and promote merchandise to customers.
• Perform data entry and maintain sales records for inventory control.
• Conduct sales transactions through internet‑based e‑commerce platforms.
• Estimate prices, credit terms, warranties and delivery dates.
• Greet customers, discuss product specifications, and prepare merchandise for purchase, rental or lease.
• Advertise and promote products and services.
• Provide customer service and support.

Required profile

• Attention to detail.
• Ability to handle up to 23 kg (50 lb) of merchandise.
• Valid driver’s licence (driving record check required).
• Adaptable, collaborative and proactive attitude.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
