Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

CMI is a North‑American metal recycling company seeking a proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist to drive the full recruitment cycle for hourly positions. You will thrive in a fast‑paced environment, prioritising hiring needs and delivering top talent quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end recruitment for hourly roles, from sourcing strategy to selection.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand hiring requirements and business context.
• Track candidates in the HRIS recruitment platform and manage job board postings.
• Coordinate pre‑ and post‑interview communications and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain recruitment metrics and report insights to the HR team.
• Lead process improvements to attract and retain high‑quality talent.
• Support broader HR initiatives and projects as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of full‑cycle recruitment experience.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed.
• Experience with an HRIS, preferably Dayforce.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Advanced computer proficiency, especially MS Office.
