System Administrator – Executive Support

About the role

This position supports a large enterprise IT modernization initiative by providing priority, white‑glove assistance to executive and VIP users. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, handling a wide range of technology issues while ensuring high‑visibility service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary IT contact for executives and VIPs, delivering in‑person, remote, and appointment‑based support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, mobile device, and operating system problems.
• Install, monitor, upgrade, and maintain operating systems, hardware, and software assets.
• Proactively identify potential technical issues and mitigate impact before they affect users.
• Coordinate and escalate incidents with internal teams and third‑party vendors as needed.
• Document and manage incidents and service requests in an ITSM platform.
• Support onboarding and off‑boarding activities, ensuring device configuration and security compliance.
• Follow IT service management best practices, security standards, and operational procedures.
• Contribute to process improvements, knowledge sharing, and continuous service enhancement.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of desktop, laptop, Mac, mobile device, and OS support.
• Experience in structured IT support or service‑desk environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a customer‑service mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to high‑priority incidents.
• Active Secret Clearance (required).
