Steward / Dishwasher – Full‑Time Position

About the role
Join the Hyatt Regency Toronto kitchen team as a Steward/Dishwasher. You will ensure all dishes, glassware and utensils are cleaned to the hotel’s standards while supporting a respectful and inclusive workplace.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine, including filling with water, soap and rinsing agents.
- Load, unload and arrange dishes, silverware and cookware following safe stacking procedures.
- Monitor water temperature and sanitation levels during cycles.
- Hand‑wash pots, bowls and utensils as needed and air‑dry them.
- Keep the work area clean, refill supplies, and empty and clean garbage bins each shift.
- Follow WHMIS regulations for chemical handling and adhere to hotel policies and emergency procedures.
Required profile
- Minimum one year of cleaning experience in a hotel or similar environment.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lb and perform physical tasks safely.
- Effective communication with guests, staff and management.
- Good organizational and problem‑solving abilities.

What we offer
- Starting wage of CA$20.84 per hour during probation, increasing to CA$26.05 after probation.
