About the role
Join our busy restaurant kitchen in Toronto as a Cook, responsible for delivering high‑quality meals while supporting a diverse team and ensuring food safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes.
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Prepare special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas.
Required profile
- Attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
- Works well under pressure and can manage repetitive tasks.
- Client‑focused, flexible, organized, reliable and a team player.
