Staff Product Designer

About the role

Harvey is seeking a Staff Product Designer to lead the creation of intuitive, AI‑enhanced experiences for its legal and professional services platform. You will own the design process from ideation through launch, working closely with engineers, AI researchers, product managers, and lawyers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end product experience design from concept to polished delivery.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, AI researchers and lawyers to translate business goals into user‑centered interfaces.
• Shape and evolve the design system, ensuring a cohesive visual language across the platform.
• Conduct user research to uncover pain points and inform design decisions.
• Build prototypes to explore and validate new features, workflows and AI‑driven interactions.
• Champion high design standards and promote best practices for designing with AI.

Required profile

• 8+ years of product design experience in fast‑paced environments with a strong portfolio.
• Proven ability to simplify complex problems into intuitive, user‑friendly solutions.
• Comfort moving between detailed design work and big‑picture strategy while maintaining quality.
• Deep understanding of design systems and their application at scale.
