Senior Product Designer

About the role

Relay is a digital banking platform for small‑business owners. The Senior Product Designer will shape the experience of SMB banking, working closely with product managers and engineers to turn complex financial workflows into intuitive, delightful interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end design process, from discovery and research through to polished, production‑ready deliverables.
• Elevate visual and interaction quality, ensuring banking experiences are clear, trustworthy and enjoyable.
• Craft compelling design narratives that align product, engineering and business stakeholders.
• Mentor peers, lead design critiques and help build a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 5+ years of product design experience with a proven record of shipping SaaS products.
• Deep commitment to craft, strong visual sensibility and rigorous UX methodology.
• Ability to simplify complex systems and communicate design rationale clearly.
• Experience using both generative and evaluative research to inform design decisions.
• Comfort experimenting with AI tools for prototyping or user‑facing features.
