Site Superintendent

About the role

Circon Construction Corporation is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to lead on‑site activities for commercial and institutional projects in Brantford, Ontario. This full‑time, on‑site position requires a hands‑on professional who can ensure safety, quality, and schedule compliance throughout the construction lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all construction activities from mobilization to project completion.
• Manage subcontractors, trades, suppliers, and site personnel to meet productivity targets and milestones.
• Ensure work conforms to drawings, specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce health‑safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular site inspections, toolbox meetings, and coordinate inspections with consultants, municipalities, and regulatory authorities.
• Monitor project schedules, address delays proactively, and resolve site issues.
• Review daily site reports, track deficiencies, and provide progress updates.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, consultants, clients, and stakeholders.
• Assist with material coordination, deliveries, logistics planning, and site cleanliness, organization, and security.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 + years of site supervision experience in commercial, industrial, or institutional construction.
• Strong background in base building and ground‑up construction.
• Proven ability to manage multiple trades and maintain construction schedules.
• In‑depth knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and standard construction practices.
• Experience coordinating structural, civil, mechanical, and electrical work.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
