Shotcrete Shoring Nozzleman

About the role

Hall Excavation & Shoring is seeking a dedicated Shotcrete Shoring Nozzleman to join its construction team in Langley. You will work on a variety of excavation and shoring projects, applying shotcrete to ensure structural stability and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain shotcrete pumps and related equipment.
• Set up shotcrete equipment according to project specifications.
• Apply shotcrete to walls and surfaces, ensuring clean, sound, and properly reinforced applications.
• Inspect hoses, pumps, and safety gear before each use.
• Collaborate with foremen and shoring crews to interpret drawings and install reinforcement.
• Identify hazards, follow safety protocols, and participate in safety meetings.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and report issues promptly.

Required profile

• Physical fitness for standing, walking, lifting, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and variable shift hours.
• Strong work ethic, safety‑first attitude, and willingness to learn.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Required skills

• Experience operating a shotcrete pump.
• Knowledge of proper shotcrete equipment set‑up.
• Ability to install reinforcement materials per specifications.
• Inspection and maintenance of shotcrete hoses and equipment.
• ACI Nozzleman certification (or equivalent experience and training) is an asset.
