SEO Strategist (6-month term)

About the role

We are looking for an SEO Strategist to join our team on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract. You will manage a portfolio of clients, develop and execute SEO strategies, and act as the main point of contact to ensure clear communication and measurable results.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of SEO clients, delivering tailored strategies and exceptional client experience.
• Conduct keyword research, create blog topics, and support content planning.
• Implement on‑page SEO updates and publish content using WordPress.
• Analyze performance data with Google Analytics, Search Console, Business Profile and SEMrush to provide actionable insights.
• Oversee technical SEO tasks such as 301 redirects and site optimisations.
• Train new team members on SEO best practices and contribute to process documentation.
• Collaborate with senior staff on small‑scale product development initiatives.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in SEO with a strong analytical mindset.
• Excellent client communication skills, able to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Organised, able to manage multiple accounts without overlooking details.
• Legally able to work in Canada and based in Calgary.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
