Senior Vice President Technology

About the role

This senior executive position is based in Canada and reports directly to the executive leadership team. The Senior Vice President of Technology will shape the technical strategy, scale engineering operations, and drive delivery of a next‑generation AI‑powered solution.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall technology strategy aligned with product, market, and business goals.
• Lead engineering and technical operations, overseeing software development, infrastructure, architecture, and delivery excellence.
• Scale, mentor, and develop high‑performing engineering teams while fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
• Collaborate with product, go‑to‑market, and customer‑facing teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Drive architectural decisions that ensure reliability, scalability, security, and long‑term growth.
• Evaluate and optimize existing technology initiatives, infrastructure, and processes for efficiency.
• Ensure solutions are designed with privacy, compliance, security, and resilience as core principles.
• Contribute directly to technical execution when needed, especially in rapidly scaling environments.

Required profile

• Extensive leadership experience in high‑growth or startup technology organizations.
• Proven track record of building, scaling, and retaining high‑performing technical teams.
• Strong expertise in modern technology stacks, cloud or hybrid architectures, and digital transformation.
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑driven technologies such as NLP, large language models, or computer vision.
• Familiarity with physical technology environments including networking, video systems, surveillance, and connected infrastructure.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
