Senior Software Engineer – Mobile App

About the role

ARC’TERYX is expanding its technology group and seeks a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of its mobile application platform. You will shape product capabilities, guide architectural decisions, and collaborate with a skilled engineering team to ensure long‑term stability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the development direction and technical health of a medium‑sized product area composed of multiple features.
• Become a subject‑matter expert for the mobile app business domain and deeply understand system internals.
• Mentor team members, raise the technical bar, and conduct thorough code reviews and pair programming.
• Produce technical documentation and propose refactoring initiatives.
• Execute performance tuning, usability improvements, and automation across the product.
• Contribute to shared code bases, define team standards, and present knowledge‑sharing sessions.
• Own technical design for moderately complex projects, breaking down user stories into actionable tasks.
• Identify future work opportunities and build evidence‑based cases for enhancements.
