Senior Project Manager – Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex civil infrastructure and building projects across Saskatchewan. This site‑based role oversees the full project lifecycle, from pre‑construction planning through execution and close‑out, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project teams, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and accountability.
• Develop execution plans, schedules, and cost strategies with stakeholders.
• Support estimating, cost planning, value engineering, and constructability reviews.
• Manage tendering, subcontractor selection, and contract award processes.
• Control project budgets, forecasts, and cost performance to meet profitability goals.
• Monitor progress, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Oversee RFIs, shop drawings, change orders, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery methods and resolve project challenges proactively.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in project management or senior project leadership.
• Proven delivery of civil infrastructure projects ranging from $5M to $50M+.
• Experience in pre‑construction, estimating, and full‑cycle execution.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop teams.
