Senior Manager, Planning and Performance

About the role

The Senior Manager, Planning & Performance reports to the VP of Commercial Performance and leads the improvement of processes across the Commercial organization. The role enhances communication, tracking, monitoring, and reporting for Retail, Foodservice, Fresh Pork, Fresh Poultry, and Grocery sales teams, increasing visibility and accountability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead process improvements and ensure consistent adoption of new standards across all sales teams.
• Develop, coach, and manage the Sales Planning & Performance team to implement tools that support strategic priorities.
• Govern and train users on support tools such as Promotional Request Forms, Listing/Delisting Forms, and Field Sales Tablet tools.
• Standardize and automate reporting to deliver accurate, timely insights.
• Communicate results and updates through weekly reports, leadership meetings, continuous‑improvement sessions, and the annual conference.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing, Insights, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT to improve planning processes and operational effectiveness.
• Directly manage the full‑time Graphic Designer and oversee the creative work queue, balancing urgent requests with long‑term initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree in Business or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a sales or marketing role.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; French is an asset.

• Competitive salary range of CAD 95,800 – 145,800 per year.
