Senior Animator

About the role

The Senior Animator will lead the creation of high‑quality 3D CG animation for feature‑length and episodic projects at ICON Creative Studio. You will work closely with the Lead Animator, Animation Director and Animation Supervisor to ensure the visual style and storytelling meet the studio’s premium standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver top‑tier animation that exceeds established quality standards across complex sequences and technically challenging shots.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior and intermediate animators, sharing techniques and best practices.
• Maintain shot continuity and ensure a cohesive visual narrative throughout sequences.
• Streamline the shot approval process by addressing feedback promptly and minimizing revisions.
• Implement efficient scene organization and workflows to boost team productivity.
• Collaborate with the Lead Animator, Animation Director and Animation Supervisor to solve complex animation challenges.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional 3D animation experience using Maya in series or film production.
• Proven lead experience in feature or series CG character animation, preferably with a cartoony style.
• Experience animating quadrupeds and comfortable filming and using reference footage.
• Ability to work within an established pipeline and adopt custom tools.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team mindset.
