3D Animator (Mobile Game)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled 3D Animator to join our dynamic art team on a mobile simulation game. You will create high‑quality real‑time animations for characters and cinematic cutscenes, supporting the overall artistic vision.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑quality animations for real‑time 3D assets, including short cycles, locomotion cycles, and cinematic cutscenes.
• Collaborate on animation design by defining references, brainstorming ideas, and validating concepts.
• Produce visually compelling character animations using the Unity engine.
• Rig characters and other assets with proprietary studio tools.
• Participate in team meetings, working closely with the Lead Animator and Creative Director.
• Work with art, design, and programming teams to refine the animation workflow.
• Research and implement new animation techniques and AI tools to improve the pipeline.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional character animation experience.
• Proficient with auto‑rigging tools and independent character rigging.
• Experience delivering shipped titles in Unity.
• Strong communication skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to learn 2D animation in Spine and adopt new workflows.
