Residential Grading & Loaming Operator (Mini Skid Steer)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Grading & Loaming Operator to join our Calgary field team. The role focuses on fine grading and loaming for new‑home construction during the building season and transitions to snow‑removal duties in winter.

Key responsibilities

• Operate Bobcat 463 and S70 mini‑skid steers to perform residential grading and loaming.
• Execute fine grading and final lot preparation for new home builds.
• Work safely in tight spaces between homes and structures, using foot‑control equipment.
• Maintain production while meeting quality and grading specifications.
• Follow all company safety procedures and site requirements.
• Collaborate with supervisors, builders, and crew members.
• Maintain equipment and report any operational concerns.
• Support winter snow‑removal operations during the off‑season.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of skid‑steer operating experience in residential construction.
• Proven experience with residential grading and loaming.
• Ability to work confidently in tight‑access residential environments.
• Strong understanding of site safety practices and job sequencing.
• Dependable, motivated and able to work independently when required.
