Remote Family Medicine Physician – $130‑$180/hr

About the role

Mercor is seeking experienced Family Medicine or Primary Care physicians to provide comprehensive, patient‑centered care remotely. This part‑time, hourly contract role supports individuals and families across all ages, focusing on preventive health, acute care, and chronic disease management.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct health assessments, routine check‑ups, and chronic disease management for patients of all ages.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and long‑term conditions.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient history and clinical needs.
• Promote preventive health through screenings, immunizations, and patient education.
• Coordinate care with specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
• Apply evidence‑based medicine to optimize patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) with specialization in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Valid medical license to practice in applicable U.S. jurisdictions.
• Proven clinical expertise in preventive and acute care settings.
• Strong interpersonal, diagnostic, and communication abilities.
• Commitment to patient advocacy, compassion, and continuity of care.
