Quality Control Inspector

About the role

The Quality Control Inspector will ensure that microelectronic assemblies and components meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality standards throughout production. After an initial day‑shift training period, the role moves to a permanent evening shift.

Key responsibilities

• Perform first‑article and final inspections on microelectronic assemblies.
• Record, maintain, and track quality data in established systems.
• Identify defects, non‑conformances and support corrective actions.
• Verify workmanship against drawings, standards, and specifications.
• Collaborate with production and leadership to meet schedules and quality goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safety‑focused work environment.

Required profile

• 2+ years of quality inspection experience in microelectronics or precision electronics manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of MIL‑STD‑883 and electronic assembly quality standards.
• Certification in IPC‑A‑610 and J‑STD‑001 (space addendum a strong asset).
• Experience inspecting SMT and wire‑bonded components.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, procedures, and work instructions accurately.
• Effective communication and problem‑solving skills; bilingual English/French is a plus.
