Quality Assurance Specialist

About the role

The Quality Assurance Specialist will maintain and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with FDA, ISO, and GMP standards. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement and uphold the highest quality standards for regulated products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA policies, QMS procedures, and inspection standards.
• Conduct internal audits, quality inspections, and manage deviation, OOS, CAPA, and change‑control processes.
• Oversee validation plans, subcontractor performance, document archiving, and management reviews.
• Collect and trend quality data, handle customer feedback, and support waste‑management initiatives.
• Participate in R&D committees and lead quality‑related projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Microbiology or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in QA/QC or laboratory operations, preferably in cosmetics or other regulated products.
• Strong knowledge of cosmetic GMP, ISO 22716 and related quality systems.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English and French (spoken and written).
