Project Manager – Water & Wastewater Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead water and wastewater infrastructure projects for our Burnaby office. The role covers the full project life‑cycle from conceptual design through construction, while mentoring design teams and pursuing new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering design work from concept to detailed construction drawings.
• Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders, consultants, contractors and internal staff.
• Drive business development activities, including proposal preparation and client networking.
• Develop project schedules, allocate resources and monitor progress.
• Track budgets, ensure cost control and report status.
• Provide training and mentorship to project managers and design personnel.
• Implement quality‑control procedures and uphold design standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 + years experience delivering municipal engineering projects.
• Registration as a P.Eng. (EGBC) or AScT (ASTTBC); CAPM or PMP designation preferred.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and personal vehicle.
• Strong project, design and time‑management capabilities.
• Proven team leadership, business development and conflict‑resolution skills.
