Project Manager

About the role

Bantrel is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its Integrated Project Management Team (IPMT) for the expansion of the Bethune potash mine in Saskatchewan. The role is based in Bethune and will support a multi‑disciplinary EPC effort that aims to double production capacity to 4 million tonnes per year.

Key responsibilities

• Lead disciplined planning and execution of the EPC project, ensuring alignment with schedule, budget, and quality targets.
• Coordinate and integrate multi‑disciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction, and client stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the client (K+S Potash Canada) and internal support offices in Calgary, Edmonton, and Toronto.
• Monitor project performance, manage risks, and drive corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing large‑scale EPC projects in mining, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Bethune, with relocation assistance or Living Out Allowance available.
