About the role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Project Coordinator to support a fast‑growing land development team in Edmonton. The role involves assisting Development and Project Managers with the planning, budgeting, and execution of land development and construction projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist Development and Project Managers with coordinating and overseeing projects.
  • Contribute to project planning and budgeting processes.
  • Monitor project timelines and ensure milestones are met.
  • Provide administrative and tracking support, including invoice approvals and tender coordination.
  • Analyze project data and create reports, presentations, or communiques.
  • Identify project challenges and recommend practical solutions.
  • Act as a liaison with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication.
  • Track schedules, manage information requests, and disseminate information promptly.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain project documentation, contracts, and construction drawings.
  • Research and compile market data into actionable reports.
  • Support project delivery through marketing execution and builder communications.

Required profile

  • Degree or diploma in Engineering, Planning, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in land development, municipal infrastructure, civil construction, or related project environments.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and research capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong documentation and organizational abilities.
  • Self‑motivated, able to work independently and adapt under pressure.
  • Comfortable interacting with senior leadership, consultants, contractors, municipal stakeholders, and field teams.

Required skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Adobe products.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and development/site plans.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge of database management.
