Project Coordinator – Land Development

About the role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Project Coordinator to support a fast‑growing land development team in Edmonton. The role involves assisting Development and Project Managers with the planning, budgeting, and execution of land development and construction projects.
Key responsibilities
- Assist Development and Project Managers with coordinating and overseeing projects.
- Contribute to project planning and budgeting processes.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure milestones are met.
- Provide administrative and tracking support, including invoice approvals and tender coordination.
- Analyze project data and create reports, presentations, or communiques.
- Identify project challenges and recommend practical solutions.
- Act as a liaison with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication.
- Track schedules, manage information requests, and disseminate information promptly.
- Prepare, review, and maintain project documentation, contracts, and construction drawings.
- Research and compile market data into actionable reports.
- Support project delivery through marketing execution and builder communications.
Required profile
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Planning, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in land development, municipal infrastructure, civil construction, or related project environments.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and research capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail‑oriented with strong documentation and organizational abilities.
- Self‑motivated, able to work independently and adapt under pressure.
- Comfortable interacting with senior leadership, consultants, contractors, municipal stakeholders, and field teams.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Adobe products.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and development/site plans.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis.
- Knowledge of database management.
