Production Technician

About the role

As a Production Technician at Durabuilt Windows & Doors, you will work on a dedicated production line that manufactures high‑quality windows and doors. You will collaborate closely with teammates to ensure each product meets strict standards for quality, efficiency, and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Operate saws, cutting tools, impact drills, rivet guns and other hand tools to assemble window and door components.
• Measure and verify parts using both metric (mm) and imperial (inches) units.
• Identify and report any material or weld defects to the Line Lead.
• Load, unload, and move materials manually or with basic handling equipment.
• Track inventory levels and notify supervisors when supplies run low.
• Complete production documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area free of clutter, dust, and waste.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Clear criminal background check.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with saws, cutting tools, impact drills and rivet guns.
• Experience using measurement and verification tools.
• Familiarity with basic material‑handling equipment.
• Comfort with computer applications used in manufacturing processes.
