Pouch Operator – Evening Shift (Full Time)

About the role

ePac Flexible Packaging is seeking a reliable Pouch Operator for the evening shift. You will set up and run pouch‑making machines that convert laminated films into high‑quality pouches, ensuring all products meet customer specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all company Quality System, Operational, and HR policies, including safety procedures.
• Set up machines according to job specifications, adjust stops, guides, and material requirements.
• Monitor line speed, scrap rates, and set‑up times, meeting or exceeding standards.
• Perform quality tests such as burst, drop, and water‑table tests and record results.
• Conduct minor machine maintenance (replace zipper cloth, dies, seal bars, punches) and report larger issues via work orders.
• Assist assistants with stacking, marking, packing, and transporting finished boxes.
• Execute changeovers, preventive maintenance, and daily production reporting.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and support other operations (press, slitting, lamination) as needed.

Required profile

• Positive attitude toward learning and teamwork.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
• Strong visual acuity for color consistency and defect detection.
• Manual coordination and dexterity when using hand tools.
• Commitment to safe work practices around operating machinery.

Required skills

• Burst testing, drop testing, water‑table testing.
• Basic machine maintenance and hand‑tool operation.
• Quality control and data‑entry procedures.
