General Labourer

About the role

The General Labourer will join the production team at a Tier 1 aerospace structures facility, focusing on cleaning the exterior surfaces of large aircraft components. This role supports a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and offers opportunities for skill development and career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Clean aircraft component surfaces using approved chemicals and tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized shop and work‑space.
• Follow all safety standards and guidelines, including provincial and federal regulations.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as required by production needs.

Required profile

• Team‑player able to meet deadlines in a high‑tempo environment.
• Physically fit, able to lift up to 50 lb repeatedly and stand or sit for up to 8 hours.
• Capable of keeping hands above head for extended periods while cleaning.
• Detail‑oriented and able to work methodically.

Required skills

• Familiarity with hand and power tools such as wrenches, tape measures, hammers and drill hammers.
• Experience using cleaning solutions for aircraft components.
