Plumber Helper – Residential Construction

About the role

AAA Plumbing & Heating Ltd is seeking a motivated Plumber Helper to support residential construction projects in Edmonton. You will work on‑site, assisting licensed plumbers with a variety of tasks while gaining hands‑on experience in pipe installation and maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials to job sites.
• Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required dimensions.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine material and layout requirements.
• Cut openings in walls and floors for pipe routing.
• Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering, brazing or welding equipment.
• Test installed piping for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
• Clean work areas, remove debris and handle chemical spill cleanup.
• Maintain personal safety equipment and adhere to site safety protocols.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of related construction or plumbing experience.
• Physically capable of handling heavy loads, bending, crouching and kneeling.
• Excellent oral communication and a strong team‑player attitude.
