About the role
We are looking for a reliable painter to prepare, clean and finish interior and exterior surfaces for our projects in Edmonton. The position involves outdoor work, physical labour and the use of various painting techniques.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, clean and sand surfaces before painting.
- Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings.
- Measure, cut and apply wallpaper and other fabric wall coverings.
- Erect scaffolding, swing stages and attach rigging safely.
- Apply paint, wallpaper and other finishes to interior and exterior areas.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- Physically demanding work; able to lift up to 23 kg.
- Valid driver’s licence and clear criminal and driving record checks.
- 1 to less than 7 months of painting experience.
- Ability to work mornings, days and weekends as needed.
