About the role

The Permanent Placement Recruiter – Engineering drives both sales and recruitment for direct‑hire opportunities within the engineering workforce sector. You will manage the end‑to‑end hiring process, build pipelines of in‑demand talent, and meet monthly revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full sales and recruitment lifecycle for direct‑hire positions.
• Secure new business from prospects and existing clients, locally and nationally.
• Attract, engage, market, and place engineering candidates.
• Act as an industry expert, sharing market insights and workforce trends.
• Collaborate with regional colleagues to align talent solutions with client needs.
• Source passive and active candidates, conduct interviews, and qualify talent.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of high‑quality passive talent.
• Execute business‑development activities, including cold‑calling and lead follow‑up.
• Apply direct‑hiring methodology to influence search processes and provide consultative guidance.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑interview discussions with candidates and clients.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of recruitment or sales experience within the engineering sector.
• Proven track record of meeting KPIs and financial targets.
• Client‑facing or sales experience, with exposure to executive/leadership search.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
