Organizational Change Manager – ERP Transformation

About the role

MatchBox Consulting Group is looking for an experienced Organizational Change Manager to lead change initiatives for a large‑scale ERP transformation at a leading energy organization. This 18‑month contract will focus on designing and executing change strategies that ensure successful adoption across multiple business units and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement change management strategies for the ERP transformation.
• Conduct stakeholder assessments, change impact analyses, readiness assessments, and risk evaluations.
• Create workstream‑specific plans covering communications, learning, coaching, sponsorship, and resistance management.
• Lead engagement activities with executives and all organizational levels.
• Partner with HR, Learning & Development, Talent Management, and business partners to deliver integrated solutions.
• Coach project teams, sponsors, managers, and leaders on change leadership.
• Prepare executive presentations, communications, and change deliverables.
• Monitor readiness, adoption, and effectiveness, recommending corrective actions.
• Identify and manage change‑related risks, issues, dependencies, and opportunities.
• Support long‑term sustainment planning and contribute to methodology improvements.

Required profile

• University degree in Business, HR, Organizational Development or related field.
• 10–15 years of experience leading organizational change initiatives.
• Proven experience with large‑scale ERP implementations or enterprise‑wide transformations.
• Strong background in stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, readiness and adoption planning.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Based in Calgary and able to work a hybrid schedule.
