Mobile Application Developer

About the role

Synechron is looking for a skilled Mobile Application Developer to join its dynamic team in Calgary. You will help shape the mobile strategy by building hybrid applications that combine native code (Swift, Java, Kotlin) with React Native (TypeScript) to deliver innovative solutions for financial services clients.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design, develop, test, and release mobile applications.
• Analyze design requirements and work with stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility.
• Maintain high‑quality source code, conduct code reviews, and define coding standards.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience building, maintaining, and releasing hybrid mobile applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong background in iOS development (Swift, Objective‑C) and Android development (Java, Kotlin).
• Proven experience with React Native in enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with iOS and Android release processes and RESTful/GraphQL APIs.
• Motivated self‑starter, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
